The Process...
Collecting Information - Architectural Drawings
All necessary information concerning the project is collected, and the final output is determined at this time. Project information supplied by the client includes design sketches, marked up prints, architectural & civil site drawings, site photos, and material samples. All CAD files supplied must be in Autocad .dwg format.
Developing 3-Dimensional Model - Solid and Wire Frame Models
With project information in hand, our team will begin developing a complete 3-dimensional model of the building and site.
Determining Camera View(s) - Establishing View
Camera position(s) are established and set up for the most appealing view(s). One camera setup is required for each rendered view. Camera setups include the exact placement of key and fill lights for best shadow effects as well as all other interior and exterior lights.
Material Mapping - Applying Material to the Model
Materials are mapped to all surfaces of the model and terrain. The sky as well as appropriate type of landscaping are added depending on location and time of year, and all lights are adjusted for intensity and color. Finally, people and any necessary vehicles are added to the scene.
Rendering - Generating the Digital Images
Still Images - Stills are rendered at the appropriate resolution.
Animations - Motion studies are analyzed for all animated objects. Key frames are then established and tweens are rendered from one key frame to the next at the appropriate frame rate.
Animations, Post Production - Completing the Finished Product
Sound tracks are added as well as other post-production special effects such as fade-ins and fade-outs. Titling and credits are added.
